Hi Rachel

I just wanted to email you to say thank you so much for your course, everything was brilliant and I have now found a job! I´m so excited! I wouldn´t have been able to do it without the help and assistance your course gave me.

The Chief stewardess from a boat called ***** called me the other day saying she had seen my CV with blue water and that she really liked it! then I had short telephone interview and I will be flying to Malta next monday to start the position of Junior Stew!! it´s such a good package too, I get 2 months paid leave a year and the itinerary is to go to thailand and asia!

I am so pleased I signed up to do your course otherwise I would not be in the position I am in now! I would recommend your course to anyone and everyone I meet who wants to get into the industry.

The crew are really lovely! we've just finished a 10 day cruise with the owners that went very well, had chance to see Rome and just sat at Anchor off the island of Elba for a swim n play with the jet ski, before setting off back to imperia later tonight! Would like to thank you again for the course it has really been so helpful what you taught us!

Natasha S. July 2009 Steward/ess Training course

A massive thank you to Rachel and Crew4SuperYachts.

A dream which I have had for many years came true on 24th June 2009 when I received a call from Chief Steward Timm Elliot offering me a position as junior steward on board Motor Yacht ***** the 3rd largest super yacht in the world coming in at 133 meters and awarded best kept interior 2009 and runner up for best kept exterior (picture shown).

After a great 8 days course in Birmingham with Rachel at Crew4Superyachts - going to a winery and tasting wines to flower arranging, silver service & ironing (which as a guy I never thought I could do) a bit of housekeeping, CV preparation and cocktail making, I felt I was prepared enough to begin searching for a position on board a super yacht, and I left with Rachel for France.

We got a flight to Nice and then a train connection to Antibes (the port of super yachts). Antibes in my opinion is the best and most central super yacht port on the Cote D'Azur. Monaco, Cannes, Jean les Pins, Golfe Juan and even the border to Italy are all within 1 hour.

I spent my first 2 weeks in Antibes in 2 different crew houses which were great places to meet people although I would only advise this for a short period as they are 120 Euros a week for a head on a pillow. I also did my STCW 95 course which is a compulsory certification to work on a boat. Also recommended is your ENG1 medical certificate which can be done by a few doctors here in Antibes.

I spent many days dock walking handing out CVs and meeting people as I was advised during my steward course. In my 4th week I got a job in the local crew pub The Blue Lady where I met crew and Captains who I got to know well. I lasted 3 days before I had my interview and was offered the job as junior steward.

So a 5 week trip to France in the year of the credit crunch still means.......... there are certainly still jobs out there! My advice is to do the course with Crew4Superyachts – without this I would never have had the skills or the industry knowledge to get this amazing job on one of the best yachts in the world - and pack your bags for France & if it’s something you really want to do it will work for you. The interview is not as bad as people make it out to be!

110% to Rachel and "her" help with me in getting me here. Have fun and good luck becoming a 'yachtie' - everyone knows everyone and once you are in the industry it’s great!
