Crew 4 Superyachts Ltd provides training courses for those interested in becoming a steward or stewardess on board luxury super yachts.

Silver Service-
During this course, as well as learning the basics of Russian service / American Service / Family Service and French service styles, you will be taught how to serve meals silver service style – the preferred service style on board super yachts. Start with the basics of learning which cutlery to use for each menu – from basic breakfast settings to more formal dinner settings. At the end of this course you will be serving a formal meal silver service style to invited guests – invite a family member or friend along, and show off the skills you have learnt whilst fully preparing for and then serving them with a three course meal.
Napkin Folding, Table Decorating and Flower Arranging-
Part of becoming a successful steward or stewardess on board a luxury super yacht is having the skills to be able to set breakfast, lunch or dining tables with precision, flair and elegance to perfectly compliment the chef’s culinary delights. During this course you will learn step-by-step the skills needed for folding a variety of napkins, as well as practice with a variety of decorations for use with table settings. No super yacht will be complete without flower arrangements. Leave the training course with two arrangements – one for your table plus a vase arrangement. At the end of this course you will put all the skills you have learn together to use during a practical three course silver service meal assessment.
Foundation Wine Training Course-
A qualified wine expert will guide you through an array of wine varieties from around the world, showing the techniques to help you develop your palate through tasting. Learn how to select the best wines to complement the meals you will be serving, enabling you to choose the perfect wine for your guests every time. Leave with a 40+ page Foundation Wine Course training manual to assist your continuous learning whilst on board your first super yacht.
Cocktails and Bar Tending-
Learn the skills needed to make a variety of drinks whilst on board, plus also learning how to adequately stock your on board bar. You will practice how to mix, blend and garnish a variety of cocktails.
Speciality Coffee Making-
A coffee expert will train you how to make the perfect cup of coffee – from a basic American coffee to cappuccino and latte. You will also learn and practice latte art.
Yacht Orientation and Basic Seamanship Skills-
Learn the basic seamanship ‘rules of the road’, from a navigational expert, and practice frequently used yacht terminology ensuring you are as knowledgeable as you can be about the workings of a super yacht for your first trip on board. You will also be taught the tying of essential knots that you will need when on board.
Visa Requirements-
Here you will learn all the information you will need regarding which yachts need their crew to have which visas for different countries, and how to apply for them.
Interview Training and CV Preparation-
super yachts and super yacht crew agencies have a specific way to present your CV in order to be accepted for your first position on board. During this part of the course you will write and produce a CV to these specifications, as well as learning how best to prepare yourself for your first super yacht interview. Once you have passed Crew4Superyachts training course, as well as being placed on our recruitment database you will be eligible to join super yacht crew agencies worldwide, therefore increasing your chances of finding employment.
The cost of the 8 day course is £700.00, inclusive of daily refreshments and full colour in-depth training manual for you to take with you on board. You will also leave with a completed CV to super yacht specifications, which will include photographs showcasing your skills in cocktail making, flower arranging and table decorations you have produced throughout the course, for you to show prospective employers and super yacht crew recruitment agencies.

Once the course is completed, you will join our recruitment agency exclusively for trained stewards and stewardesses, where you will have direct access to super yacht jobs, as well as joining other agencies worldwide to increase your chances of finding employment.
